Cement for general construction that is exposed to moderate sulfate attack and is meant for use when concrete is in contact with soils and ground water.
This cement is similar to Type I, but ground finer. It is usually used for precast concrete manufacture. It may also be used in emergency construction and repairs.
Clinker is the raw material used in the production of Portland cement.
Gypsum is a soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate. It can be used as a fertilizer, is the main constituent in many forms of plaster and is widely mined in North and South America, Asia and Europe.
International Standards
We supply Portland Cement in conformity with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard C150, and the British Standards Institution (BSI) Standard BS EN 196 and 197, for determination of compressive strength and constituents. All non-cement products conform with the relevant global standards including ISO specifications.
